| dc.description.abstract | Os problemas menstruais constituem aproximadamente 50% das queixas ginecolĂłgicas na adolescĂȘncia, sendo a hemorragia uterina disfuncional responsĂĄvel por 90 a 95% dos casos. Trata-se de uma entidade clĂnica muito frequente nos 2 primeiros anos apĂłs a menarca, uma vez que os ciclos menstruais tendem a ser anovulatĂłrios. Ă um diagnĂłstico de exclusĂŁo, devendo outras possĂveis causas ser estudadas: discrasias sanguĂneas, complicaçÔes de gravidez, endocrinopatias, patologia pĂ©lvica e medicamentos. Os autores fazem uma revisĂŁo da fisiopatologia, avaliação diagnĂłstica e tratamento, no sentido de uniformizar atitudes terapĂȘuticas. ABSTRACT: The menstrual disorders constitute about 50% of gynaecological complaints in adolescence, and the dysfunctional uterine bleeding accounts for 90 to 95% of cases. This is a very common clinical entity in the first 2 years after menarche, because the menstrual cycles tend to be anovulatory. It is a diagnosis of exclusion, and other possible causes should be studied: coagulation disorders, complications of pregnancy, endocrinopathies, pelvic pathology and medications. The authors present a review of the pathophysiology, diagnostic evaluation and treatment in order to unify attitudes. | por |
