dc.description.abstractABSTRACT A teen-age girl with carries primary immunodeficiency, was observed at the Pediatric Dentistry Department due to painful, rapidly growing to swelling of the left hemiface, which did not yield to treatment with multiple antibiotics and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. CT Scan demonstrated a left maxillary sinus neoformation. Surgical cleaning of the maxillary sinus was performed. Histological examination was normal but the bacterial examination revealed the presence of aspergillus fumigatus. Oral antifungal therapy was added for two weeks. The post operative evolution was excellent.por
