| dc.description.abstract | RESUMO Os autores apresentam o caso clínico de um grande prematuro de 27 semanas de gestação e peso de nascimento de 605 gramas que apresentou recorrência de quadro abdominal associado a instabilidade clínica durante os 3 meses de internamento hospitalar. Discute- se a dificuldade de diagnóstico e alerta-se para a co-morbilidade da hérnia inguinal na grande prematuridade. ABSTRACT The authors present the case of a 605g body weight premature baby whose clinical course was characterised by recurrent clinical instability and abdominal symptoms during his first 3 months. The difficulty in establishing the final diagnosis is discussed. Alert for the role of inguinal hernia as co-morbidity factor in the extremely premature baby is also highlighted. | por |
