- Caso estomatológico: granuloma piogénicoPublication . Amorim, J.M.S.A 11 year-old boy was referred to our department with a chief complaint of a painless slow growing mass, localized to the gums. The lesion was highly vascular, easily bleeding, at the level of 2.1. In addition, the patient had poor oral hygiene, presenting exuberant plaque and tartar. We performed an excisional biopsy of the lesion and removed the plaque and tartar; histology confirmed the clinical diagnosis of pyogenic granuloma.
- Caso estomatológico: linfangiomaPublication . Amorim, J.M.S.A 13 year-old adolescent was referred for an urgent evaluation at our department because of a swelling, slow-growing, and painless, sometimes bleeding lesion of the tongue. He presented a vegetative lesion of the tongue with irregular borders, multiple vesicles of variable size and staining, infiltrating the adjacent tissues and that seemed to extend into the tongue. Surgical excision was performed, and histological examination confirmed a cavernous lymphangioma.
