ABSTRACT
A 14 year-old boy presented a two
months’ history of left knee pain. Following
X-ray findings, MRI of the knee
was performed. Knee MRI findings lead
to the diagnosis of osteochondritis dissecans.
This disorder affects mainly
male adolescents, and may involve
knee, elbow or ankle joints. It is better
evaluated by MRI.
